5 Elements Workshop
Fusion of contemporary dance, improvisation, choreotherapy, interactive activities and intensive work with your body.
The workshop is dedicated to everybody who wants to feel better in their own body, find the harmony and knowledge about themselves.
Participants will learn the techniques to:
- control the psychophysical abilities of five elements in their body,
- create tempo-rhythm of the movement,
- control the non-verbal expression,
- create dialogue and find the balance between mind, body and soul,
- express themselves using body language
- feel the energy of Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Ether through the movement and sound
All Five elements joined together make one unit – Our Nature, undivided combination of mind, will, emotions used as source of expression -our body.
Earth – Stability and rhythm. It’s a symbol of life and basic of all human creation.
Water – Adaptation. Mirror reflecting our inner peace and the surrounding reality.
Fire – Energy of Transformation. It gives us strength to express ourselves, clearly mind and ability to see more through our eyes.
Air – Connection between five elements . Lightness, inspiration and freedom.
Ether – Space, universe. Place where all our inspirations, self-awareness, memories are kept . Our unique nature, who decides who we really are.
Finding these elements in you and get to know them will help to stay in balance and harmony with yourself, because body in an instrument of expression and channel of communication with our inner emotional world.
Any idea arises in the mind, every thought ends with movement.
The movement is connect with dance . The dance is what can not be owned in our life and because of this is so valuable.
Dance art helps to free expression of the human spirit - feelings, emotions, fears and joys.
Energy, impulse, intention, act, mood and inspiration are combined in the definition of creativity.
Program of the workshop include movement in defferent spaces and reflection. So please take comfortable clothes and shoes to change.
Termin: 10/11 March 2012 (6h each day from 10.00 till 17.00)

Anna Gilla – Poland and Yoana Yordanova – Bulgaria:
Professional dancers and actresses in International Alternative Theater “Prencov 60”
Anna Gilla is pedagog, cultural and social animator, dancer and choreographer. She graduated from Warsaw University in the faculty of Education in Poland and finish two-year course for dance instructors in Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts with specialization of jazz dance. She start to dance and perform when she was 9 and since then it’s her way to express her feelings, thoughts and way of living. She is teaching dancing, leading teambuilding workshops and cooperate with theaters. She is also involved in many cultural and educational projects connected with different kinds of performing arts. Open to new techniques and experiences, always searching inspirations in world and people around her.
Yoana Yordanova is actress for Movement Theater and Pantomime and professional classic ballet dancer. She graduate from National School for Dance Art – Sofia, Bulgaria and Nation Academy of Theater and Film Art -,,Kr. Sarafov’’ – Sofia with specialization of movement theater and pantomime. She is involved more with physical theater, contemporary dance and contact improvisation. She has big experience on stage. She worked as: Dancer in Nationl Music Theater ,,St.Makedonsky’’ – Sofia; Participante in performances in Theater ,,SFUMATO” ; ,,Theater Sofia”; Nationl Opera and Ballet. She work with young people as lector and always is open for new tendency of art and contacts with them.
