There are no translations available. EVS project, KEEP THE FIRE, organized by ARTKRUH is continually building up cooperation between partner organizations from Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Poland. There are two main topics. The first topic is organization of educational activities in art and cultural area for youth and adults and organizing cultural events for the public. The second topic is development and saving of traditional cultural and historical values. The main activity of this topic is reconstruction of historical country houses and artifacts by traditional technologies and crafts. The place of happening is region of Banska Stiavnica centered of village of Prenčov and local center of village of Stratena in Slovak Paradise and also other regions of Slovakia. In this project are involved people with fewer opportunities. They are facing economical obstacles because they can get themselves realized in the area of art and culture. There so the main point is to help to these volunteers to realize in this area. Therefore will be provided a special maintenance by experts with long-term experiences. In the year 2011/2012 we are hosting 3 volunteers: Yoana Yordanova Volunteer from Bulgaria for 11 months - from 07.07.2011 till 07.06.2012 Actress for Movement Theater and Pantomime, professional classic ballet dancer. She graduated from National School for Dance Art in Sofia, Bulgaria and National Academy of Theater and Film Art - "Kr.Sarafov" in Sofia, Bulgaria with specialization of movement theater and pantomime. She is involved also in physical theater, contemporary dance and contact improvisation. She have experience in making and playing with masks as well as dancing with fire. She have big experience on the stage. She work with young people as lector and always is open for new tendency of art and contacts with them. Andrzej Sojka Volunteer from Poland for 11 months - from 07.07.2011 till 07.06.2012
Anna Gilla Volunteer from Poland for 11 months - from 7.08.2011 till 07.07.2012 Animator of culture, pedagog, dancer and choreographer. She graduated from Warsaw University in the faculty of Education in Poland and finished two-years course for dance instructors in Mazovia Region Center of Culture and Arts with specialization of jazz dance. She is teaching dancing (modern, jazz, folklore), leading team-building workshops and from time to time cooperating with theaters. She is also involved in many cultural projects and educational programs. She love traveling and intercultural meetings. Open to new experiences she always searching inspirations in world and people around her.
